The perfect drink to have in hand while watching the Emmy Awards tonight.
Combine 1/4 cup bourbon, 2 tablespoons of rosemary-honey syrup, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a 12 ounce glass filled with ice, or shake over ice and pour into a martini glass for a little extra glamour. Top with a splash of sparkling wine, and a sprig of rosemary.
ROSEMARY HONEY SYRUP
Bring 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup water, and 1 (4 to 6 inch) fresh rosemary sprig to a simmer over medium heat, and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until honey dissolves. Remove from heat and let the rosemary steep for 5 minutes. Strain, discard rosemary.
