Anything with chocolate as an ingredient doesn’t last very long in our home – especially when the kids have friends over!!
I briefly left the kitchen, and came back to find an entire batch of Double Chocolate Cookies completely devoured.
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (12-ounce) package chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375F.
Cream sugar and butter, beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in flour, cocoa and baking soda on low speed. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until set.
Cool 1 minute, remove from cookie sheets.
