Fun and flavorful – these Lamb Meatballs are an excellent addition to any party!!
Mix 1 pound of ground lamb, 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion, 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon grated orange zest and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Form into meatballs and transfer to a baking sheet. Bake at 475F for about 15 minutes. In a bowl, whisk 2/3 cup plain yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest, 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin and a pinch of salt. Spoon dollops on a serving plate, top each with a skewered meatball. Garnish with fresh mint.
