A beautiful appetizer for a gathering of friends!!
PIMIENTO GOAT CHEESE SPREAD
1 10.5 ounce log of goat cheese, softened
4 ounces smoked cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup drained pimientos, coarsely chopped
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
In a medium bowl, blend the goat cheese with the cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, pimientos, green onions, pickle relish, onion powder and Tabasco, season with salt and pepper.
Transfer the spread to a bowl and serve with vegetables.
